Yves Atchade is Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics with a secondary appointment in the Faculty of Computing and Data Science at Boston University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
His research interests center on Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods and their theoretical foundations, the statistical properties of Bayesian procedures in high dimensions, and the development of principled statistical and learning methods for improved environmental prediction.
